Racing suspension systems that lower the rear roll center (such as the Steeda 5-Link, and Torque-arm/panhard-bar combinations) require stiffer rear springs to take full advantage of the revised suspension’s rear grip. These high rate springs lower the rear of the car approximately 1 inch. Actual ride height will vary depending upon vehicle weight. For the 5-Link suspension: Street cars, match 325 lb rear springs with fronts in the 550 to 700 lb range. Race cars, match 350 lb rear springs with fronts in the 700to 900 lb range. Note: Springs are priced individually. You must order 2 per car. Fits 1979-2004 Mustang. |
