The RAM street or strip disc has either a backed or woven organic friction facings, our proprietary sintered iron segment facings, or a combination organic/sintered iron. These have proven performance and value over a long period of time. These materials are unlike Kevler which requires a break in procedure, and if not done correctly, causes a chatter.
Stage 1 - HDX sets feature increased clamp load pressure plate and 200 series organic disc. Smoothest engaging setups for street/performance vehicles. Holds up to 450 hp
Stage 2 - Powergrip sets feature increased clamp load pressure plates and a 900/300 series combination facing. Good street manners in properly geared cars, some chatter take off at low RPM. Good for street/strip. Holds up to 550 hp.
Stage 3 - Powergrip HD sets incorporate the increased clamp load pressure plates an 900 series friction material. Most aggressive of the sets, some chatter at low RPM in lower rear gear cars. Strip/Street setup. A billet flywheel is strongly recommended with these sets. Holds up to 650 hp.
Stage 4 - Street dual clutches provide fantastic driveability in a package capable of holding well in excess of 1000hp.
