Axle Tube Support Brace

RealSpeed now carries the LPW Axle-Tube Brace. The brace eliminates case distortion of the rear end by preventing forward movement of the housing tube ends. Additional stress on bearings, axles and suspension components is also relieved, further ensuring correct wheel alignment. Maintaining proper wheel alignment increases performance and provides even tire wear. Each side of the LPW Axle-Tube Brace is independently adjustable using high-quality, right- and left-hand rod ends. This brace is highly recommended for anyone launching on slicks.

Brace kits feature lightweight 4130 moly tubing. The new minimum depth brace provides more clearance of chassis components and is recommended for 1979-04 Mustangs. An extra depth brace is available by special order to provide ample room when using coil-over shocks mounted behind the rear housing (PICTURED).

Fits 1979 through 2004 Mustangs equipped with 8.8" rear end only. Note: prior to 1986 Mustangs were originally equipped with a 7.5" rear.
